HELP! Lost plug in engine bay

I was in the process of installing a new intake in and I was installing the last 2 plugs in the back for the coolant pipe when one of them fell behind the heads, I've looked everywhere for a good hour and a half and I can't find anything, any suggestions ?

when i dropped something back there it wedged itself above the bell housing and a heat shield... good luck

Yeah its most likely on the top of the bell housing. Its a pita but I would be shocked if it wasnt there.

Yeah, I lost a bell housing bolt there. It was actually there months later when I pulled the tranny back out.

This is one of the reasons why I want to drop my engine before swapping out the heads and cam.
