Unhappy 98-02 Trans Am Headlight Buzzing Failure......

Ok so I have a 2000 Firebird Formula.
The history, two weeks ago when I turn off my headlights or armed my alarm the headlight motor on the driver side keep buzzing for 3-4 seconds when turned off.
If car was alarmed by the key fob the headlights would then go up and then go back down and buzz for 3-4secs.

Well I since then replaced the whole headlight motor from one from AutoZone and has worked for about a week. Last night it's doing the whole same thing over again now with the new headlight motor.

Is there something I'm missing???

It could have been a dud motor. What brand did you get? Another thing to check is the orientation of the bolts securing the motor to the car. There is one that can bind up the mechanism (and cause stress to the gear) if its installed backwards.

Is something binding? Did you check to make sure the bolts were installed the correct way and not catching the door arm?
