Default Knock sensor question... P0332

Ok I've tried searching but couldn't get a definite answer. Which knock sensor is bank 1 and bank 2. I'm assuming the front is bank 1 and the rear is back 2. A friend of mine is getting a p0332 after replacing the knock sensor. The harness had a small pressed place in that we even cut out and repaired and still get the p0332.

hey i know this is a old thread but im having the same issue and live down in stamford ct (know of any meets around here?), i have replaced the sensors and harness w/ a new gm equipment. I have a cutout that iv been running open for the past few days and im wondering if this could be the reason im getting the code?? The last time that i threw the same code i was running the cutout open also and thinking this may be my issue??

It might be the cutout but im not 100% sure. I know when I had a cutout on my car it would run leaner so maybe that is your culprit. Do you have any way to scan the car to see whats going on? I would clear the code and drive around with teh cutout closed to see if it makes a difference.

The only meets I know of are the ones in Derby on sundays and theres a cars and coffee type deal in downtown Milford on some sunday momrnings.

yea its really fun, its been a work in progress for a few yrs now and it will be for the next few. still have street tires on it but going to get some radials on it this winter and take it out to the track next spring and see what it can do... hope to have a pretty awesome car in the near future. It takes a big chunk out of the spending money i have so its been a long process but finally got a tranny and rear end that can hold the power so hoping mechanically it should be pretty sound to go for the next 80,XXX+ miles but then again its still a ls car and think we all know how they like to act up from time to time

yea for sure any time, i went the other way put lots of power and broke the tranny and rear at the same time and had to wait a winter to buy a tranny and rear which cost me a arm and leg haha but all is good now so should be able to handle what ever i throw at it which could be a lot in the next few years to come... i have two ata intercoolers and factory intake so as soon as i let the thing breath better im sure it will make some a lot more. putting 620 to the ground now and i have the biggest pulley i can get on the f1
