I read on here before about mixing it with your auto gas. I found what I was looking for.

I put about 3-4 ounces in our full 16.8 gallon tanks.

I use either; Red Line Watercraft Injection Oil, Amsoil HP Marine Synthetic, or the Pennzoil FULL Synthetic TCW-3.

that's a load of bullshit.
there is no way 2-stroke oil mixed to gasoline in a 4-stroke engine results in more power. it's bad science coming to incorrect conclusion. adding 2-stroke oil does not increase the energy content of the combustion, if it did everyone would be running 50:1 vs 100:1 to gain more power in 2-strokes and that is not the case.

and that fuel power is bullshit too, i tried a gallon of it years ago and tracked my mileage for the entire usage. no improvement. i posted it on bitog, i'm sure it's removed now but the fp manuf. then had no comeback.
here is the data, fp used between 4/30/05 to 7/31/06. car is 2002, have gas usage recorded since day 1 until now.
some data is missing and shows as zero, the spikes above 25 are strictly highway mileage for long trips.

I agree on calling BS on the increased power claims, but I use it ONLY for the top end/combustion chamber/upper ring pack lube properties.

I believe it works for this purpose, and many on bitog agree.

well i would disagree on the upper cylinder lube, along with most bitog opinions.
there is no proof.
the key word here really is "believe"
you cannot claim or prove that belief without pulling pistons and inspecting rings and cylinder bores. there are plenty of 4 stroke engines running easily over 100k miles up to 300k miles without any fuel additive.
not to mention burning 2-stroke oil is contaminating the catalytic converters.

You are correct about some of the bitog garbage, and yes, even if it is only a 'placebo effect' which I choose to believe, it still makes me happy to do it, and it does not cost all that much.

At the least, I figure it cannot hurt with our early LS1s being the cold start 'slappers' that they are (even though most will say that causes NO wear/harm what so ever).

IF one uses a low dose, VERY clean burning, full synthetic, low ash, TCW-3, then there is NOTHING to worry about (on the deposit/catcon damage fronts) as long as one does not run too rich on the fuel trim tune.
