Engine using oil???? NEED HELP!! So I recently changed my oil and filter 1500miles ago. All Royal Purple. My car doesn't leak a drip! I was out driving today and the low oil light came on. I checked it and it was 1 1/2 quarts low. No oil leaking anywhere. Now last week we went for a cruise and ended up racing, oil was checked and was perfectly full. I did hit the limiter accidentally twice but it runs just perfect still with no problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah that's low miles. Mine has 136k and doesn't burn any oil so yours shouldn't either.
Drive it normal for a couple hundred miles and check the oil again. If its still using oil you should probably change oil viscosity. Something slightly thicker

if it matters I'm using Royal Purple high performance 5w-30

You're probably sucking it up threw the pcv valve, take the air lid off and open the throttle body and look for oil. this is a known issue and many install a catch can. Some dont suck up as much but other motors will drink it like cool aid..

Yeah, Blow by happens when you drive the car hard... Had a similar issue w Blow by whereas oil was leaking from my air filter... ( catch can routed).. so I installed an oil separator, in addition to my catch can... Problem solved...
