Is my lid wrong?
Is my lid wrong? I was looking at lid's on several f body birds last night & they all have an air opening in the front. My p/o installed a rubber gasket sealing the front but he cut open the inside (I guess for the ram air mod).If I remove this rubber piece it looks like the air will travel under the filter. Sorry if this is a newbie question, I appreciate the help.

I have trimed that plastic trim in my past z28s ivd had. Kinda making it a high rise from a ss/ws6 .. Allows more air flow even tho you already have slp ram air cold air.. If you have some time on your hands do it ..
