If it's dripping down the outside of the bell housing from way up top My guess would be opsu but you could also put the flash on your phone and take a bunch of blind pictures as far behind there as you can get.

Maybe go get a telescoping dental mirror to help see. They make ones with larger mirrors.

Its not dripping down the bell housing....its dripping down from somewhere above the tranny and flowing down right by the connection on the drivers side of the trans
the picture I posted I guess its just pooling up in the bell housing and dripping from there.

when i got home oil pressure at ZERO I saw a trail of oil down the street and up the driveway ...girl is pissed!
Any run time with no oil pressure is not good and likely caused damage, How much damage would depend on when the bearings quit seeing pressure, I was driving my old 350 Chevy powered Monte one time and literally had the oil filter blow out. Ran maybe 30-60 seconds with no oil pressure. Ended up pulling the motor on the advice of an engine builder and found the bearings scored pretty good. It ran fine and sounded good before it was pulled but oil pressure was a tad lower than before. I got lucking and polished the crank and new bearings and it was good to go.
Had I just driven it without pulling the motor it would have probably have been fine for a while but in the end I would have done more damage if I waited.

Im driving it til this puppy blows! Ive had great luck with this motor internally other than me ******* up with the intake and nitrous pressure. Hell i threw 200hp and 100 shot on it at 200K and it took it fine then bumped it up to 150 and it took it.
so yeah while i know its not good for the motor ...I had no choice but to get it home and i dont have the funds to just pull it and redo. so this puppy will blow before it sees anything

I have a 96 Chevy Z71 that I used to pull a 22 foot enclosed trailer, The lower radiator hose popped off while towing up and down steep hills at 65mph. By the time I realized I had a problem the gauge was already pegged. Took a good 20 minutes for it to cool down enough to take water without blowing it right back out of the radiator, It got so hot that it started melting the plastic air intake box that sits on the throttle body. That was about 8 years ago and it's still going strong. I would have ran the monte until it blew but it was my daily driver so I wanted to fix it on my terms rather than get stuck with nothing to drive.

If you haven't made the purchase yet, check out RockAuto. It's a reliable sight that sells things very cheap compared to parts stores. It's a 4.2 star review and I have ordered quite a few parts off there myself and they are great. Just a heads up trying to save another guy some money. Goodluck and hope you get your car back on the road soon.
