Default Wiper fluid spray pattern

The windshield sprayer on my driver side doesn't seem to be spraying properly. It doesn't spray far enough to the drivers edge of the window, and as a result, that arc of wiper arm travel just gets smeared. Is there something I can adjust or clean?

You can google a lot of remedies for this but some are bad. (like sticking a pin in the nozzle)

I've had grit get in nozzles of other vehicles and had success by taking the nozzle off the car and using a MightyVac to suck clean water backwards through it. I'm not sure how easy it is to get the nozzles off our cars, though. You could also leave the nozzle on and build a "cup" of water around it with tape to suck some fluid back through the tubes.

gm part # 14098191, both sides are the same, I replaced mine awhile ago, don't remember exactly how I did it, I'm pretty sure you have to remove the wiper cowl to get to the nozzles. Make sure the washer hose is firmly attached to the nozzle, when I was replacing mine I found out mine was loose, causing it to not spray a lot of fluid on the windshield. But I figured since I had the cowl apart, might as well replace the nozzle. works great now.

I ended up replacing both nozzles and the behavior remains the same. Could it have anything to do with my choice of wiper fluid or wipers? With or W/o Rain-X, etc?

Maybe theres some junk in one of the t's or the line somewhere. Can't see a reason why it wouldn't spray right with new nozzels.

Is it related to the angle the spray is hitting the windshield? I just put mine back in and it isn't pointed down at the window at the right angle. I need to fix that.... Hopefully it will make the spray pattern better when I do.

The nozzles fit pretty snug in the cowl, not sure why they'd be at the wrong angle unless the cowl was misaligned. I don't recall ever having the cowl off but the dealer may have when it was under warranty.

How did you get the nozzles out without taking the cowl off?

IIRC, I took all the plastic things attaching it off, was able to lift it up, not a lot just enough to get under there and get them, didn't feel like taking the one wiper arm off. Oh and I think I had to remove the cowl seal too. I also looked at he new nozzle as how it gets attached and detached.
