Default Power steering rack leak

I have a bad leak coming out of the power steering rack where the steering column connects to. My question is can i replace that top seal or do i have to replace the whole rack? Thanks guys. I have the FE4 also if that helps.

I'd simply replace the fluid and add 2 ozs of TransX, should fix it right up.

We can rebuild your rack and return it to factory specs.

Rebuilding services for your rack start at $250 and the turn around time right now is about 1-2 weeks.

Thanks,
Junior

Or you can buy a rack for under $190 from Detroit Axle. Mine was also the FE4. I received mine in 3 days, looked really good out of the box, everything lined up perfectly, and the bushings were good. They don't charge you a core, and will give you $25 plus a lifetime warranty if you send them your rack with the prepaid label that's included in the box. Mines been running great.

Oh, about two months now. No leaks, sounds, or anything else odd so far. Feels good to have tight steering again.
