Default Voltage problem

installed 2 alternators and 2 batteries and lacking power .Theres now power on the tiny wire on the back of the alternator. I read that the computer is the one that decides how much power it should send when there's a load. Also I went and bought another pcm thinking it was that cause there was no power on that small wire in back if alternator.Right now I have a small resistor but it's not the same as it was before. This problems I've had been like this for 2 years and it happened when I installed a system in car.System is gone after that. I researched online everywhere and nothing . Help

It's called an exciter wire, so you'll be able to search for lots of threads on that topic. Often, the wire gets damaged at the connector and needs to be replaced.
