It could be the drive shaft hitting the exhaust

when the noise is present is it when the car is moving or will it also do it while it is sitting still?

Found the problem I feel pretty dumb it was the pigtail of a zip tie from the emergency brake cables the end of the zip tie was just barely hitting the weight on the drive shaft making a tick tick tick noise thanks guys for your input another LS problem solved

I had a similar noise and it was the baseball card I attached to the emergency brake cables with a clothes pin. Removed that and was good to go.

Cool that it was a simple fix! I'm always happy to feel dumb when that happens.
