Installed SLP Manual Fan switch today... BOTH fans do in fact work... High, Low... Its a good feeling. Nice clean install under ashtray lid...

I can't make this **** up... New t stat, cap, coolant, SLP fan switch Drove the car tonight low fans... Never got past 190-200..... Took it out on the highway cruising in 6th gear. 90 mph @ 2300 RPM's.... Of course, the 1LE's don't have CC....

Now its time to begin to mod...

Thank you for everyone's feedback, bled the system while adding coolant, no air bubbles, no leaks, life is GOOD! God I love it when everything goes right!

Well, still dont know why fans arent kicking on correctly.

My 96 had 90-100k when I installed my switch. Just would not cool off once it got up there. Never got around to programming it.

I did mine in the AC controls. Came with a different toggle switch though. That one looks much cleaner. I also did mine in AC controls in hopes I would always notice it. Even then, forgot to turn it off sometimes. Luckily never killed the battery completely, although had to push start it a couple times....
