The 00' SS is aging...New problems?
Car throwing a P0107 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input, it stalls out randomly especially with ac on and hick ups. AC on plus coming to a hard stop equals stall out but its intermittent. I will add it only seems to do it when hot outside(80+), I had this problem last summer and didn't fix it because it went away during the cold months. Wiring getting hot??
Diablosport tuner showing long and short term fueling to be perfect so I dont think there is a vacuum leak. Is it possible the map connector could be trashed?
It's gotten to the point where If replacing the connector does nothing I would let a chevy dealer find out wtf is wrong with it because I'm fed up. Knowing my luck it wont replicate it for the tech and they'll gladly take my money. As for the MAP reading I'm not sure what KPA the map should be reading at.
Parts that have been replaced
MAF- 1 week ago because it was malfunctioning
Throttle position- last year
IAC- 5 years ago
MAP- replaced when doing ls6 mani swap 5 years ago
Any ideas or experiences please share.
You'll need to get to the back pins on the MAP connector to track down the 5 volt reference and ground and make sure those are both good. It's going to be a pain in the *** though since the map is on the back of the intake.
Don't wing parts at **** just check the connectors and confirm what the issue is then attack it. If you have good power and ground/reference then you'll have some confirmation your MAP is toast.
FYI MAP ranges from 15 - 125 Kpa
I'm heads and cammed but I sit about 55 - 60 Kpa at idle, you'll vary by elevation and whatnot.

I replaced a MAF, headlight motor and window motor in my first 17 years. Year 18 and 19 was much more extensive.
