Default Is Dorman still the Go-To window motors?

I need to replace both of the window motors on my CETA. Is the Dorman 742101 still our best option?

And can someone remind me of the little resistor trick that's done before installing them.... also isn't there a hot wire mod for the pass side motor, or something?

Thanks guys!

All discussed in here and some others are trying non-Dorman options: https://ls1tech.com/forums/pontiac-f...hs-truths.html

Awesome, thanks! Just the info I was looking for, towards the end, with the Cardone.

BTW, what's the difference between the Cardone 82-145 and the Cardone 42-150?

EDIT:. Okay found out the differences between the P/Ns...
82145: Chinese New
42150: U.S. Reman in Texas by Cardone in house

Received this info by the Tech at Cardone.
