LS starts and dies and Im stumped
I'm not sure if this is the correct Forum Thread for this issue but I didn't see a ...help me...thread.
I installed a 2004 LS6 into my '68 Corvette. I have it completed and she cranks over and will start with starting fluid and run for a second or two and then dies. Without the starting fluid she seems like she wants to start but will kind of stumble but never actually catch.
I have new Bosch fuel injectors that runs 28.8 @ 58 psi. I am running a returnless in tank fuel pump that has 60 psi in front of the rail and then I verified it has 60 psi at the rail while both priming and cranking. I have a new crank sensor and a new cam sensor. I have verified all 8 injectors are firing with a NOID light and verified all 8 spark plugs are firing with a spark plug tester placed in-between each spark plug and boot. I have verified the MAF in installed correctly and facing the right way. My PCM was tuned by Bob Hammer and he has verified that he did in fact turn off the VATS. He also built a custom wire harness and we have verified pins are correct and that coil #1 goes to cylinder #1. I have new fuel in the tank.
I don't know what else to check.

So I know the rail has fuel and the injectors and brand new. The injectors are also getting a signal verified by a noid light. I havent actually seen them spray but all signs point to the fact that they are…except the no start

So in the ECU using my scan tool, I found the VIN for the car that the computer came out of. The PCM is supposedly the one that came with the engine and has not been replaced. I just did a Google search and found some interesting details. On 3/24/2019 it shows the car for sale. It was a 2004 Z06 LeMans Edition with 78k miles. It says mods include Long Tube Bassani headers, Stage 3 Vengeance racing cam, upgraded rods and lifters and cold air intake.

So you posted this..
I ask this..
You post the same **** again...
Doesn't answer one bit of what I asked.
What mods are done to the ENGINE?
Not the Computer tune.
What's wrong with the guy who did it?
I do all my own tuning, why I'm asking what I'm asking. If the Tune isn't close to run the Engine with the mods it has, it won't fire so again, what's done to the Engine?

Wait.....
so you bought the engine AND pcm together.... makes more sense now....
What injectors did you take out of the engine?
If they are drastically different that what it was originally tuned for it very well could not run at all without the correct injector data.
