Shutter on the highway
So this morning, I'm on my way to work (at highway speeds) and I feel what I think is torque converter shudder. It happened 4 days ago briefly on the highway and it seemed to come and go as quickly as I turned my music down. I wasn't 100% that it wasn't the woofer hammering me
So I pull it over and kick it into 3rd gear (I have it tuned to NOT lock up in any gear but 4th) and it did it as I accelerated getting off the highway - so obviously not the TC which is good. No check engine light on or flashing for a misfire. I had just filled up with some 93 octane but I was 30 miles down the road when this happened. I did a 180 and drove back home and didn't have any issue at all driving back.I didn't have my scanner with me, but I'm thinking fuel. I picked up a fuel filter and injector cleaner (I've never used any) and she has 406,000 miles .....
Anything else that I might be overlooking? Thanks in advance.
I had a 2000 Z28 that would hesitate or stumble from like 2500-3000ish and that was the MAF. Changed it out and it was perfect again.
Dont overcomplicate things, start small, like you are. Clean the MAF, do some routine services.
As for the fuel, do you regularly fill up at that particular gas station? was it a nice gas station or a run down fill station?

I do regularly fill up at that station and haven't ever had any issues with their 93 octane. I'm going to change the fuel filter, clean the air filter ....etc ... this weekend.
