i know mobil 1 is pretty good,gm puts it in

i have heard of AMS oil but i dont know if
i like it or not,i have seen some cars come in at work with locked up engine blocks and they had AMS oil in them.
i just have not heard of that many filter brands
what filters,and fluids,and-or additives
do you guys reccomend,or use?

Re: fluids, oils, and filters what do you guys use.
Lower oil pressure is not something I look for in an oil. Sorry, but if I'm not seeing at least 10psi for every 1000rpm at WOT ranges, than I'm not happy. I went with an ARE pump to also increase oil pressure slightly since I had planned to rev higher than the stock rev limit.
I use Valvoline 10W30 SynPower with a M1-107 filter. I'm happy with the results I've had from that setup.

Those of you using the Mobil 1 filter will want to check out this thread:

Note how restrictive it is to oil flow.
