I know there are better ones out there but I stick with the Ac/Delco PF59 and seems pretty good to me and I save from paying over $10 on an oil filter.

Patman has a good writeup here: http://www.tfbm.org/faq/oil-filter.html

I did use the long Napa gold but now I use the short Napa gold because my car is lowered. It's a great filter from what I have read.

Wix filter for me. But next oil change I may go with a mobil 1 oil filter, since I am using mobil 1 oil.

the purolator and wix are good filters, with the purolator having a bit of favor.

the fram is the worst you can use, theres a thread in the external engine section as to why. i had been using them since i bought my car, but no more after this

do they make a long type purolator?

K&N is the filter that my car uses. May be a little bit more than some other filters but its not like I buy one every week. Mobil One also makes a good filter to match thier oil.

Good choice, next time go with the Mobil 1 0w40 European formula, it's the viscosity of choice out of the Mobil 1 oils, Patman verified

I use an AC Delco PF46 along with Mobile 1 10w30, no problems with 95k on the clock.

I use the standard length K&N HP1007 (5.5 quarts). If you want to run the longer K&N HP2006, then make sure you run 6 quarts. I personally use Mobil 5w30 because I'm too lazy to look for the German Castrol, and quite frankly, I've used the Mobil for so long in both my LS1 cars, that I'm not really worried about it.

I just put M1 0W40( not the euopean blend) and K&N HP 2006, it really lowered the noise
