Default cruise control decieded to go bye bye

When I try to engauge it nothing happens, I've tried the wiggle and shake method. Looked for any lose wires, and nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

Mine doesn't work either. I've wondered why but I've never asked.

Have you guys checked the little white plastic button on your brake pedal? It turns the cruise off when the brake is pressed and can get out of adjustment, causing the cruise to think your brake is always pressed.

Get under there and look around, you will see it after you take off the kick plate under the dash above your pedals. It's one of the cheapest made parts on the car, really cheap soft white plastic with a plastic adjustment nut.

Interesting I'll have to check that out. I learn something new everyday.

Isn't there one on the clutch pedal too (for those with an M6)?

Yes, there is, its on the same place on the clutch pedal. The buttons are on the arm of the pedal that goes up into the firewall. They are easy to see, bright white and really cheap looking.
