Default Unstoppable Oil leak - HELP!!!

Well ever since i did my cam swap this winter and dropped the pan, it wont stop leaking. It was only leaking a few drops a day, nothing major. But i hate oil leaks, big time. So i took the pan off, siliconed the gasket a bit, retorqued everything. Better, bot not fixed. So last week i took the oil pan out, the timing cover off etc. Put a new gasket in. Followed the directions in my hanes manual; Siliconed it along the front of the timing cover, and at all corners. Put it in, torqued to 180in/lbs's on the corner and 106 in/lbs's on the side just like the manual spec'd. So i let everything sit for the weekend to set nicely and everything. Drive the car to my g/f's tonight and when i come home, i get out and open the garage door, pull the car in. Walking back past the driveway, while my car was in the driveway ilding for like 30 seconds max. It has leaked about 6 small drops of oil. Enough to get my hand wet rubbing across it. Any help is appreciated guys, i dont know what im doing wrong.

I really hope this is just a bad crank seal or something leaking, seeing how i just replaced them when i had the timing cover off.

I did the same thing. I was told not to use any silicone because of the type of gasket, so i didn't and i get a few drips every once and a while from the front of the engine. It's not much but now that the engine is out it will be fixed anyways

It appears that its leaking off the front of the pan. All the way across this time.

You checked the pan for distortion or any imperfections right?

I have had this problem from day one of the rebuild. I seem to have slowed down the actual leak but it looks like it's "using" oil. It looks like it's about a quart and a half low after a little over 600 miles since oil change.

Well i got it up on jackstands today. It appears that my problem was the crankshaft seal. Somehow a peice of dried silicone got resting in there and when i put the hub on, it was resting between the hub and the seal, not letting it seal. You could actually see the oil dripping out and being slung around by the belt. Luckily i had a spare timing cover set in my toolbox and replaced it. Just grabbing some lunch before I go and test fire it. Thanks for the help guys
