im guessing this oil is good for 5K miles right?
but what viscocity do i use, it doesnt get real cold here (90 highs, 70 lows), it will probably be not too cold for the next 3 months. so what should i use?
also what brand of oil filters do you guys suggest?

For Royal Purple, since it tends to thin out some during use in an LS1, I'd say the 10w40 would be what you'd want to use.
Amsoil's Euro formula 5w40 is also a popular oil among the LS1 crowd... I personally use Amsoil XL 5w30 with an Amsoil Super Duty oil filter.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
If you or anyone else is interested in Amsoil info, shoot me a PM... I'm an independent dealer and can give a great price for fellow board members.
