Extra Cable On TB? Last night i was telling my buddy how my car only hits 119 mph and then bogs down. He didnt think that to be right so we took a look under my hood and he says i got a cable that stops my tb from opening 100%. While we looking another buddy comes up and sees the cable and tells me its a kick down cable for an auto transmission he also noticed that my cruise control was in a different spot as hiss 2000 ss. well i thought this to be a little wierd so id figure i would ask u all knowing ls1 guys and see if someone could give a definat answer. Any help would be greatfully appreciated

the TCS/ASR is the thing mounted on the passenger shock tower. if you don't have that but u do have cruise, then you have 2 cables, one from the pedal and one from the cruise

...and if your car shuts off around 120 mph that's a speed limiter. It was programmed into the computer on cars that did not come from the factory with Z rated tires. Mine is the same way, raised the limiter with HPP3.
