What are you talking about?
Don't you just let it run out on the ground?

PepBoys are dicks in my area. THey aways say that they are full (full of **** more like it) or they will only take 4 qts. Autozone takes up to 5 gallons. that is where I now buy my oil from.

Why would you need to take it out of the car in the first place?

Thats what I meant to say, but unfortunately I forgot to post any useful information whatsoever.

Legally, and place that sells oil must also accept oil for recycling. However in practice, not every gas station will do so. I tend to put my oil in empty windshield washer gallon containers and put those in a cardboard box and bring them to the autoparts store. I drop them off in front of the door, knock once, and quickly run away, otherwise they may make you carry it all the way into the back room. Oh, and make sure you dont put oil in a bleach or chlorine (pool shock) container as it creates a nasty reaction.

I buy a 5 gallon plastic bucket with lid at home depot for 3 bucks and keep pouring it in there until full. Once it is full I mark it on the outside with magic marker "old oil".
I then drop it off at a nearby service station during non- business hours.
