Hi all

Like the title says, my car started screeching after turning off my motor. It sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine and last about as long is it takes me go turn of my car, open my hood, and get to the passenger side of the engine.

I have LG headers and a cam in the car in case that makes a dif.

Any of you have had this problem or have any ideas?

Mine did this to me to. I have stock manifolds on there and when I got this noise I checked my car at night after driving it hard for about 30 minutes. I popped the hood and checked my passengers side manifold and found it redhot glowing in one small spot right in the center of the manifold. This is not good so I pulled the manifold and got me some of those exhaust gaskets from ls1speed. Put the manifold back on and no more screeching or air releasing sounds anymore and the manifolds no longer glow red at night. Check your gaskets for your headers this may be the source of your problem.
