From what I understand the only way to properly clean the injectors while they are on the car is to go to the dealer for a fuel syestem cleaning. Its only like $150 and works good. The stuff you pour into the gas tank causes more carbon build up. IMO

ive used Seafoam at my work and it seems to work really well. i would be carefull about those injection cleaning services from some shops. we offer that service and it isn't anything worth $150. pepboys offers an upperend cleaning thing that really isn't anything either.
some just attach a tube to your intake and run a cleaner through it while the engine is running. ive seen them do this and when the car is revved black smoke would come out the tail pipe (carbon buildup). they would do this till there was no more smoke.

I'm with SSRZ28! Use Seafoam! you can get it from OReilly's, doesn't cost much and you can also use it as a full engine cleaning agent. Just pour it into the crank right before a oil change and it will get all the gunk out of the engine also. Great stuff! Just don't leave it in you engine long. Pour it in, run it for like 10 min. then drain the oil an put in some Mobile 1!!!!
You can use it on your gas lawnmore to keep it running like your car! Just perfect!
