ticking noise from where the driveshaft meets the rear end

ticking noise from where the driveshaft meets the rear end there is a ticking noise coming from that joint where the drive shaft meets the rear end,it speeds up with the speed of my car. GM just replaced my stock 10 bolt with another one and when i got it back i noticed the noise. when i lube it up with wd40 it goes away but shortly returns after a while, i cant see anything out of place at all or that i can tell.
what gives?
