Default Foglight bulb replacement or change ALL

OK, I've begun to develop moisture within one of my foglamps, so it is a matter of time before replacement is inevitable, so here is my question:

Should I just replace the bulb or swap out both in favor of an aftermarket setup......I like the black strobed setups, but I understand they are a couple hundred bucks.

Secondly, I searched and could not locate a tutorial, so not sure what is involved. (Time to crawl up under the car I suppose)

depends weather or not you want to drop the cash for the aftermarket stuff. I am in a simlair situation except that the cover for my fog lights are loose. This is also probably how water got it yours. It's not all that hard to remove your foglights and if you deside to keep the stock ones I would carefully remove the front lense from the housing and clean up all the old glue and reglue the cover back on using a clear silicone sealer. This will prevent moisture from getting into them again.

OK, thank you! I was hoping it was an unscrew and replace the whole unit, but you are suggesting just replace the bulb, correct?

I just replaced the lights with aftermarket, much more light, the fogs are actually useful now (they seem to be just decoration when stock)

Well I was saying that if you have a problem with moisture in the whole foglight itself you may want to consider resealing the housing. Water on hot bulbs doesn't mix well. but it all depends what you want to do

Yes, I believe just a small air leak, but I will probably replace w/aftermarket bulbs.

You've been a big help. Heck, last year, my primary driver side headlight was 3/4 full of water....WTF! Damn seals on those headlight suck, so I replaced them all!
One of the high-beams also had moisture within. No problems since replacement!
