Default Those with squeaky suspension, especially in the cold -- here is the solution

I had this happen on my car , suspension squeaks like a very old car when going over bumps, hard breaking etc...
not very flattering when driving with people or people checking out your car...
do like I did :
go buy a bottle of white lithium silicone , less than 2$ anywhere
now spray every suspension bushing in the back of your car
sway bar bushings
shocks little rubbery thing
and everything else you can find
repeat 2 hours after if it didnt work totally
I do it every 6 months and no more squeaky suspension
its night and day !!!!!

hope this help anynewbies like myself!!

Thanks for the post. I think i will try that as my suspension has been squeaking a little bit lately and it seems to be getting worse. Hope this works.

do you take the suspension parts off to really get the bushings or just spray it down while its on the car.

just crawl under there and spray everything, best would be I m sure to take all the bushing off and apply grease to them , but spraying just work as well after you let them soack, it really doesn t look like anything great but it got ride of all my suspension squeak !!

this is a great tip. i do this every oil change and ive never had a problem. whatever you do NEVER USE WD-40. it will dry it out and turn it into ****. i dont think i would ever use wd-40 for anything other than squeeky doors.

Good tip cedric! My suspension has been making some sounds like that for a while now. I'll give it a shot this weekend.

I have that sound from my passenger side rear. I thought the rattle was from my exhaust hitting the body. Ill deffinitely try this out. its done it when its warm out, but now that its cold its doing it every morning when I first start the car to warm-up. Thanks for the hint!

I too have the same problem but only occurs when the car has been driven for more than 10 minutes. Seems as if something is heating up and causing the squeak. I tried the silicone spray a few weeks ago but didnt work. Im about to call it quits and take it to the dealer
