Headlight motor prices

Where is the cheapest place to get a right and left head light motor from online. I'm not looking for the gears but the hole motors. Thanks everyone.

I always use ebay. I've noticed that you really don't find headlight motors for 98-02 that often on ebay, but 93-97 work as well. You'll just have to buy the opposite side and once you get your motor, you'll have to open the motor where the gear is and put the arm from your 98. Sounds like a lot, but it's really not. I would go that route since 93-97 motors are cheaper then 98-02.

yeah my headlight motor gears are still plastic i need some copper ones but i cant find any either are u guys sure that the 93-97 will work because those lights are way different than the newer year ones i dunno.....but i have a '98 Ls1 trans am

Think I might just order the metal gears and be done with it, if it's not that much of a pain in the *** to change them.

I've dealt with a worn out gear in the driver's side motor and tried the brass gears and it was a pain in the *** to switch them out. Anyways those didn't work for me either so i just bought another headlight motor from gmpartsdirect.com

16524229 is the driver's side motor.
16524230 is the pass. side motor.

IIRC they are about $85-$90 plus shipping and shipping isn't that much when i bought mine from them. Haven't had a problem with either motor since but i know sooner or later one of them will give out again.
