99 WS6 Low Coolant Light???

I've got a 1999 TA WS6 with 60K on it. Recently the little red low coolant light has come on. It used to shut off once the car warmed up but now is on constant and yes, I've checked the levels. Everything is right where it's supposed to be and the engine stays in the normal operating temp. So, as far as I can tell nothing is wrong. Could it just be the sensor or what? Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, how it can be fixed?

I've got the same problem on my 95 Firehawk. I believe it is a common problem. The sensor just goes bad and gives the false indication. I wouldn't worry about it, just change the sensor when you get a chance.

You can try removing and cleaning the sensor, replace it with a new one, or just unplug the sensor and the light will stay off. Believe 2K and up F-bodies don't even have them, mine doesn't.

You have low miles but pay attention to the water pump gasket maybe water pump gasket is leak coolant slowly. If not as mentioned alread replace the sensor its on the passenger side. Sensor sticks out of the radiator its just below the top of the radiator.
