Default front bumper...?

someone hit me in the parking lot and i was wondering what it would cost me to replace the front bumper of a 2001 camaro ss. i have an ss grill if that matters. the damage is not horrible just a cracked blinker, some deep scrapes and a small crack in the actual bumper. thanks!!

Well, a new 98-02 Camaro front fascia (12335525) lists for about $460, can get it for less than $300.

And the turn signals list for about $40 each, can get them for about $25:
Camaro turn signal / parking lamp (98-02), LH = 5978551
Camaro turn signal / parking lamp (98-02), RH = 5978552

So if nothing else is damaged, and not including any shop labor if you don't do it yourself, sounds like you'd be looking at the $300-500 range for new parts.

You'd be surprised what damage can be repaired on these
front fascia. Mine looked pretty bad after the "great deer
incident" and the body shop made it look like new.
Body shop painting the front fascia (including R&R) has
usually cost me around $250. (been there a few times).

I'd be rather surprised if that $200 price isn't for a used one. There's a shock, used parts are cheaper than new parts, who'd have guessed.

If you do want a used one, try checking the classifieds here for someone parting out a Camaro, or visiting some salvage yards.

I believe you can get body parts from Scoggin Dickey Part Center (site sponsor):

If not then try gmpartsdirect.com

Peace,
Craig.

I might be understanding you wrong, but usually what we refer to as "bumper" is actually the "bumper cover" in technical terms (what you see when you look at the car)... Because it covers the real structural bumper, and behind the bumper cover is bumper absorber.

Edit: Or maybe you were only finding bumper bras on ebay?
