Plugs & Wires - Best Brand
I'm getting ready to change plugs & wires if I really need to - what would ya'll recommend be for best brand. It's a 98 ls1 trans am - stock other than air box and only pipes after cats. Also the car has 97000 miles and is still running fine - is there really any reason to change the plugs and wires or can I just wait till it begins to miss. Does the brake fluid need to be changed? I have changed the Automatic Trans fluid.
Thanks

At 97K I'd say it's time for a plug change. Wires could probably stand to be changed at that mileage as well.
I'd recommend stock GM wires (or GMPP wires, part #12495519) and some NGK TR55 plugs gapped at .055".

I'm planning on installing a Supercharger soon, but I figured that I'd change the plugs before I put it in. If I install NGK TR6's, would they be ok till I got the Supercharger in?

Jim @ Elitesparkplugs.com is running a special on plug wires. I bought some of the red heat sheiled ones and think they are great. and have had no problems.
