hmm well then hearing that u have the stock wires im gonna say we are all victim to shitty plugs i believe impicking up some plugs tomaro morning i prolly wont ge to do em this weeken cause we are gettin snow here in NJ but ill try to do it asap and tell u what happens

I used TR55 multiple times in my other LS1 and it ran fine. Make sure you gap them correctly and do not go half *** on the 8 cylinder plug.
For what it's worth, I now use AC Delco and haven't had a problem with them yet. Cammed and all. Still on my first set.

Wow, makes me scared now to put in the TR55's I never really noticed too much of a problem with them, but now that I think about it, I did have a rough run after the car got warmed up on my '00. I think I'm going to go TR6's and run nitrous just to be safe 8)

i have the same problem. I did a plug change a few months back and now the car has a miss at idle. Taylor 10mm wires and tr55's. I'm not sure if it's the plugs because I've run tr55's before and didnt have this problem.

Maby its the 230+ cam rolling around inside?
I've been using NGK's for a long time and never had a problem. I'm thinking you should change back to the stock wires and see if it helps. Eliminate 1 thing at a time untill you get it fixed, make sure you just do 1 at a time though! Then report back your findings.
Orrrrrrrrrrr you could just get a big *** camshaft, and you wont even notice a miss every now and then

lol well my stock wires i cant really use anymore, kinda ruined a few strugling to get em off, lol but everyone that says they have the same problem are runnin tr55's some have diffrent wires tho so im leaning towards the plugs.but we shall see im buying new ones this morning ok got my acdelco ididiums cant install them now cause it starting to snow but i will try asap and let everyone know

This is so wierd, people have been using tr55's since ls1's inception! Maby NGK had a bad production run or somthing??

hey hey hey ive done spark plug changes on all 7 seven cars ive ever owned and my motorcycles and never had an issue. and ive always used ngk so im suprised myself but i dought all 3 or 4 of us that are here with the same issue all had mechainc error

issue free here with TR55's.
the wires do have to be on the coils extremly well though so not to have issues
single click on plugs Double click on coils. i've even seen some cars running on 6 cyls due to wires not all the way on . also sounds like you might have gotten a short truck wire set they shouldnt be that tight that you bassically have to stretch them
