I've used nothign but mobil 1` in my car.. i started with the 5-30, that was way too think, went to 10-30, a little better, and found the 0-40 to work well, little to no comsumption, and with the way I change oil, it comes out looking as clean and thick as it was when it went in. I am gonna try the 5-40 truck.suv stuff, see how the car likes that. I don't have slap to say, but I have alot of valvetrain noise.. nothing that a h/c car wouldn't see normally, but I wanna see if the slightly thicker oil will quiet it down any.
