Default Random metal clanging nosie?

Ever since i got my car out of the shop for the clutch it has made a metal clanging noise i have noticed it after the car is warm and has only done it 3 times, once when i was letting my car idle for 15 minutes then driving threw the parking lot, 2nd time was WOT in 3rd going down the highway, and 3rd was after doing my burnout at the track i went up to the staging line and had the car in 1st with the clutch in ??

I dont get it is comin from sounds like from under the car, tranny, cats, crankcase. it does not effect the car it still idles fine and all.

Its rather loud and sounds like a chung of metal is bouning around very fast.

Any help would be great thanks

Driveshaft? It can be tricky sometimes to find those random clunks, but I'd check that out, as it could be something as simple as a loose bolt.

Check torque arm bushing and nuts/bolts.

This sounds like the usual fbody problem. Where's that clanging coming from???? Its hard to say where your noise is coming from. I had similar noise and it turned out to be my tranny mount. I put in a new one for under $30 and the noise went away. A lot of times those noises are coming from a loose exhaust mount. From your description, I'd guess a rattling exhaust mount but its only a guess so take it for what its worth...

I bey its the Y-pipe, or the tranny mount, or maby the look close at your drive shaft and see if you can spot any areas that are marked up from possibly hitting the TQ arm
