smoke from exhaust...
smoke from exhaust... I posted in a diff. sec. but no one answered, maybe someone here will...last night i reved my car (high RPM's) and i noticed smoke coming from my exhaust...i think it was white..any idea to what the promblem maybe?? checked oil level and it looksfine. I have also notice the smoke in several different mornings when i first start it up..not huge clouds but enough to where i notice when standing behind the car. should i be worried????

I would not worry about it. You rev'ed up the motor, probably some oil blow-by, or sucked some oil through your PCV system.
And again when you start it up in the mornings, that is probably condensation in your exhaust. Was that smoke real "light" and not so dense?
Just keep an eye on your oil level, and make sure water is not mixed up with it, and the same for coolant.
And if your car smokes EVERYTIME when you start the car, then I'd say your valve seals.

imho its just water vapor, if it dissipates rapidly, get over it, also when you do this, hold your hand over the pipe (not revving obviously) and i bet it feels like something very large and surly has been breathing on it, lol. Should come away damp. Its just water. Your engine burns a TON of the stuff. Think about it...70% humidity is normal...you think your car somehow magically pulls the water out of the air before burning it? pffft
car has been acting fine..i havent really noticed any changes. My change oil light came on today while i was driving but went away in a few seconds. I forgot to reset it after my last oil change so that could be why. BUt last night it smoked pretty bad , the wind blew it past me thats how i noticed it. I plan on getting some LT's in a month or so..don know if this will make the case any worst or not.

Don't worry about the smoke. If your car smokes ALL the time then worry.

it doesnt smoke all the time... and the smokewas white..i think. It was at night so i couldnt really tell.
If the smoke is white, and it usually smokes on a cool damp morning, then it's likely water vapor, and that's perfectly normal (just like an airplane leaves "smoke" trails in the sky, same thing)
If the smoke is blue, then it's oil, usually if it does it at start up it's the valve seals, not a major problem, but should be taken care of, if it's black, then that's fuel, mixture is too rich, this can happen if you put on headers, but not always.

Well i started my car earlier today and the smoke came back again...it looked white to me i couldnt really tell. i left the car running for a good 3 minutes, and the smoke kept coming out. i took it out for a drive and didnt notice it while i was driving it. It did rain for a good 2 hrs prior to this, dont know if it has anything to do with it. I have also installed the headers and ory, almost 2 months ago. i had noticed some smoke prior to this but it wasnt as much as today. checked the oil, looked fine, coolant was abit low though. im affraid it might be something serious....should i not drive the car ??? aso the car has 54,7XX miles on it, 01. where could i get a comp. test done ??a dn hw much will it run???
