Theres on only 2 nuts that holds it in. They are right on the bottom corners.

Most people...I would say no. If your going to the track then it may be worth doing if you want the best times possible.

The rear seat doesn't weight anything at all.

Anyone have any idea on this? I'm trying to delete my rear seats but I would like to leave the belts just in case I HAVE to have someone back there. Any way to do this without cutting these plastic brackets?

The front belts? You have to remove the bolt that holds it into the body.

The belts are held on with a T47 torx bit.

If you want a pair of black ones, I've got mine that I barely used. Shoot me a PM if interested.

I took a hacksaw to the guide on the back seat. Cut a slit in it, then I could slide the belt through and remove the back seat. You can't notice it, and the belts can stay in place. I ended up removing mine all together later on, but that's one way to do it. Maybe that answers your question.
