Stalls/Falls on face
It could have to do with EGR (low pedal, low-mid RPM
is where that is bleeding in gas, and jacking timing).
But 2500RPM is also where you cross a fuel trim cell
boundary and you may have some funky fuel trims
that are driven by O2 sensor aging, MAF fouling, etc.
and once you step out of the low-RPM "bucket" into
the higher one, things get better.
