Default tap/slash rattle noise

So my new ws6 is making some wierd noises it's got a tap when it's cold which I assume is piston slap but after it warms up there is a very noticeable rattle tapping sound seems like it comes from the passenger side, car seems to run fine and the noise really isn't noticeable from in the car but it is very noticeable outside the car, any ideas?

check your exhaust clamps. maybe one broke. a clamp broke on my 95 3.4L firebird and it would rattle like CRAZY at idle - drove me NUTS - then went away once i was cruising. after i got my catback installed, the guy gave me a free clamp so it was fixed clips are like $2

this sound is definatley in the engine bay almost sounds like the passenger side valve cover but it's hard to pin point, I'm gonna try and pull the valve cover this weekend and take a look just trying to find out what to look for.
