Default Low coolant Light Won't go Out

I flushed my radiator today. Filled everything back up with coolant. Ran the car with the cap off and filled it up. Overflow tank is where it should be. Now the low coolant light keeps coming on. Pulled over let car cool, everything is full still. Radiator and tank. What's Up. Could this sensor be bad? Or do I have more serious problems. Where is the low sensor located, in the radiator or in the tank? If everything is full and coolant is good is it ok to drive it? It's not getting hot, fans are working properly, can't make it get hot even sitting in the driveway running. I can remove both caps and then the overflow will fill up and overflow. Please help.

It may need a new sensor. My light was stuck on so I took the sensor out and cleaned it up and haven't had any problems with it since. I just used a cotton swap and some water. The sensor is on the radiator on the passanger side about 3/4 of the way up on the tank. You just have to pop the little clip off both sides and it slides right out. Uses an o-ring seal.

yea i agree. you had a lot of rust and crap in your coolant. it's probably all sludged up. it probably just needs to be cleaned.
