Default How do you read an A/C pressure gauge?

Do you go by the pressure when you first connect it, or by the pressure when you have the recharge button on the recharge kit depressed?
Is the correct connector to attach to on the metal canister, or on the hose towards the front of the car?

Is 30psi the correct pressure to shoot for?

If a recharge doesn't work, and the system seems to be holding pressure, what is the next thing to check if the a/c is just blowing warm air? (Yesterday it was blowing nice and cold, today just warm )

Connect it at the port on the metal cannister (accumulator). It is better to use a manifold and gauge set up for trouble shooting a/c.

i would try using the UV stuff. that way u can see where its leakin from. when the pressure drops below a certain point, it shuts off the compressor to prevent damage cause the compressor is lubricated by the oil in the r134. mine is on the fritz right now, but its cause its leakin at the condensor and i haven't fixed it yet
