Window motor... which one?

I am not sure which one I need to purchase to replace mine. What's the difference between

Cardone Window Lift Motor: New Cardone Select

and

Cardone Window Lift Motor: Reman.

One is new, one is remanufactured. Is partsamerica your local parts store? Around here we use AutoZone, lifetime warranty, no shipping costs - and if anything goes wrong with it it's easy to get a free replacement.

advance auto parts is... which brings me to their website.

would you guys trust remanfactured or should I just go with a new one?

Buy remanufactured from Autozone. Also comes with a lifetime warranty and costs about $10-15 less than new. I think there's a $5 core charge so you can always get it back when you take out the old motor. They are fairly easy to put in, just time consuming if it is your first time. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to do it all the first time. There are some good writeups on how to do the install.

I just bought the brand new one.. saving the 10 dollars isn't going to be worth another few hours of bull&%ing around trying to get them to give me a new motor and then putting it in. Just got back from the store and reading up on install guides.. for people who have done it, any tricks or anything I should know about thats not mentioned?
