IS the noise there while driving or just when shifting between the gears? A lot of the rear u-joints go bad on these trucks due to lack of lubrication. They have also came out with a new slip yoke new help the D-R-D shift "clunk" that some people have.

it could be the great emergency brake pads the chevy has, its only held in place by #6 screw, is the vibration coming from the rear or the front?
if the front its the front wheel bearing, price is about 170 bucks
if its from the rear it could be drive shaft out of balance,u-joints, yoke, breaks are warped from emergency pad holding the rear disc,
if you go to performancetrucks.net you will find alot of info there.
