SLOOOOW power window???
Ok ever since I have had my trans am (about 6 months) my pass. side power window has always moved up and down very slowly. Its doesnt stop or nothing works fine just goes up and down slowly. Somebody had told me that the track or something needed to be adjusted but I dont know if this is true and if how hard it is. My window tint shows some marks from the window going up and down which makes me think it just needs to be adjusted. Does anyone think that this is my prob? and how hard is it to adjust if so? Thanks

Meh. Not too hard, the door panel is held on by plastic pop rivets and two clips at the top. Motor is easy to get to as well. Keep the key in the ign. tho, cuz you may have to move the window up/down to access the mounts.

there's a tutorial. sounds like they're on their way out. our window motors were VERY poorly designed. rather than getting a $200 window motor from GM that'll only die again, i hear they sell ones at autozone for like $40 that work much better and go up lots faster.

When I replaced my window motor a week ago, I was under the impression that it was going to be a bitch... it took about two hours from buying the motor at autozone to rolling the window all the way down for the first time ever (since I've owned the car.) Easy as pie.
