Well, I got this done, but I did not do it...I paid a guy that has a shop at his house a little over $600 to do it, and that was with parts included. I watched the procedure, and his lift made it a LOT easier, I imagine. He DID flush it, and I'm glad the did for all of the goop and crap that came out. The old compressor was a reman unit, but the new one is a brand-new Delphi unit. I got the dryer/accumulator replaced, along with both belts. Not too bad considering that I have to turn the A/C all the way to low now...even with this South Alabama temperature. I'm extremely pleased with the work, if anyone in the Mobile, AL area wants the mechanic's info pm me and I'll hook ya up with him. BTW, he's a former USCG aircraft mechanic, so he knows his **** and doesn't half-*** anything.

That site listed above is the best for pricing. I got my parts from ackits.com. At the time, their driers were $60... now they are up to $88. Either way...when ordering A/C parts, make sure you get the right seals.
These are listed as "GM COMPLETE SYSTEM O-RING KIT 1989-2004"
I didnt find any on my car like this...
These are the ones I needed and most likely you will need too.
"GM SEALING WASHER ASSORTMENT 2004 & PRIOR"
These worked perfectly.
Also..my compressor wouldnt take more than an once or two of oil. I distributed the rest in the drier, compressor line, and alittle in the condensor line. That was all of the 8oz can. THere was probably more than an oz left in the condensor and the evap from when I removed and capped them.
