Question cleaning tb

hey guys i was doing routine matinence on my car a few days ago like changing the oil and dusting off the filter and stuff and i noticed the tb was really carboned up on the butterfly and behind it.
i have some valvoline air intake and tb cleaner and i was wondering if i have to take off the tb or leave it on the car?
and is it ok to spray it in the intake manifold to clean it up?

Seafoam DeepCreep. Just take the bellows off the front of it and spray it down good.

Nothing will get hurt if it says "for throttle bodies"
I'd take off the TB anyways, just so I could clean the back easier. Its like 3 bolts, 1 clip and 2 connectors.

as long as it's throttle body cleaner you'll be fine. of course, clean just the throttle body into the intake manifold, not the maf. if you use brake cleaner on your throttle body or something, then you're asking for it seafoam deep creep should work fine.

i picked some up at advance last night and i might use it later.
oh i had one more question.i was reading the can of deepcreep and it says its the same as seafoam just in spray form. can you spray that in the booster hose or is it better just to get the can of seafoam?
my car dont smoke at all but there is some carbon build up in my exhaust tips.
thanks again taco
