lip broken on battery tray

Default lip broken on battery tray

So now do i have to replace this whole piece? >.<

just want to make sure i order the right thing. Since the battery was kinda flopping around in there, had to bungie it down so i could autoX last weekend ha.

yes, you have to order the entire container/tray. Call Scoggin-Dickey and order it though, they are a site sponsor. www.SDPC2000.com

You will need to keep the tube/hose, cap, and rubber grommet off of the old one. The replacements don't come with those parts.

Yup, what Nineball said. I had to replace mine not too long ago. Unfourtunately, I didn't consult LS1Tech first and ended up paying $210. for the replacement through the dealer.

I'm all about helping the sponsors, but they are more than 50% more expensive than another site...

Sorry, I have to correct myself. I didn't have the invoice in front of me when I responded. The reservior, p/n# 10402687 was $62.00, the Dex-cool added was $16.00 and labor brought the total to $205.

Leave broken one you have and get this instead..

installed on my car.


mine broke every time out at an AutoX event on my old camaro and found out about this hold down from a guy there. My current camaros hold down broke it while I was riping around a couple turns on the street! so I went straight to this hold down.
