Best way to install rear main seal? Alright, Im starting on the install of the rear main seal as soon as I get the rear main cover seal in so I am trying to figure out the best way to do this. I dont have the tool to do it, but then again I here I can do it without. So any advice in the matter would be a great help. Ive been researching a bit and what I have come up with is I take the cover, heat it up a bit, then slide the new seal into the cover. But what precautions do I have to take when i put the cover/ seal back on the engine?
