Default Cross threaded wheel stud. Help!

Somehow my wheel lock cross threaded and when I try to take it off it just seems to be getting tighter and it feels as though it's going to snap off the wheel stud. Any ideas on how to remove it or should I just order a new wheel stud in anticipation? Thanks.

If its cross threaded like that I doubt you're going to be able to salvage it. I would just keep at it until it comes off, no matter how that may be. Then go get a new wheel stud and lock, they're not hard at all to replace. I swear to god wheel studs are my car's favorite snack. Every time I get new tires the guy likes to try and weld my wheels on with the air gun.

Wheel studs are cheap and easy to change. Put some muscle on it utill it comes off or breaks and replace it. You should be able to get a new one at a parts store without having to order it. Might want to take it with you when you go to be sure it looks the same.

Im gonna piggyback this comment, but a dremel tool would make it alot easier if you can get it in there...

Tomorrow I am going to do whatever it takes to get the dumb lock off. There is no way to get a dremel in there, but thanks.

take a socket thats just a bit smaller than the lock (one you dont mind losing) and drive it on with a hammer, then use a breaker bar to break it loose or it breaks the wheel stud. this wont be a problem at all. wheel studs are cake to replace. ive had to do this to several of my friends cars.

Where can I get the new wheel stud from? Summit, Jegs, or can I get it from an Autozone? It's a Moser rear/axle etc., but I think the replacement stud would be the same as stock, right? They are not extended.
