Default Grinding headlight?

My drivers side headlight started making this grinding/ratcheting sound when it goes down for about 5 seconds. I hit the search button and didnt want stripped gears if there werent any so I pulled the fuse just to make them inop. Also when I hit the alarm either for lock or unlock the headlights were popping up every time. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix without buying a new motor (cheap fix), and also whats the deal with my lights popping up when I hit the alarm? The car only has 33K miles I think its BS

One of your gears is stripped. There are a number of (recent) posts about this same topic. Anyways, if you are looking for a cheap fix, how about a free one: http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/headl....htm#FreeGuide

All of the birds i test drove did it, and mine does it too. I read in the manual about the headlights coming up when you set the alarm. YOu can shut off the alarm some how, but i dunno how.
